How Metallic Epoxy Works
Metallic pigments (powdered metals in various colors) are mixed into clear epoxy resin. During application, the installer manipulates the wet surface with rollers, blowers, or solvents to create patterns, waves, and color shifts. The metallic particles settle at different depths in the resin, creating a three-dimensional effect that changes appearance from different angles and lighting.
