What Is Stamped Concrete?

Stamped concrete is freshly poured (or overlaid) concrete that is imprinted with texture mats while still workable. The stamps create patterns that replicate natural stone, brick, wood plank, tile, and other materials. Integral color and release agents add realistic hues and antiquing effects. The result is a monolithic slab that looks like individually laid pavers or stone but will not shift, settle, or grow weeds between joints.

Popular Stamp Patterns

Ashlar Slate

Rectangular stone pattern with natural cleft texture. The most popular residential choice in Atlanta.

Cobblestone

Rounded stone pattern for driveways, walkways, and Old World-style courtyards.

Flagstone

Irregular, natural stone shapes. Organic look for patios and garden paths.

Herringbone Brick

Classic brick pattern laid at 45 or 90 degrees. Traditional appearance for walkways and borders.

Wood Plank

Realistic wood grain texture for porches, decks, and transitional spaces.

European Fan

Radiating fan pattern often used in entries, circles, and focal points.
